>My name is Laurie Alden and I am completing my Master's in Library Science at SUNY Albany. I anticipate that I will be working in a K-5 media center in the fall. I have a question about internet policies in elementary schools. What type of information should be included in an internet policy for a K-5 school? Can anyone give me a few examples of statements that should be included in the policy? You might find some useful info here: http://camalott.com/~rssmith/AUP.htm I haven't updated it since 1998 other than to remove a couple of cobweb links, but the principles of a good AUP haven't changed overnight. *;-) Cheers, Russell Smith Edtech Consultant, Journalist Region 14 Education Service Center Abilene, Texas 915-675-8659 http://www.rustysmith.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
