My name is Jennifer Simmons and I am completing my Master's in Library Science at SUNY Albany. I currently work in a public library. The local middle school is having 6th graders chose a fable and folk tale to read and write a book report on. The assignment has specific wuestions for them to answer which is great. The teachers want fables and folk tales on an appropriate reading level and ones that are quite lengthy. The materials I have found seem to be too short, or are in a book that is a compilation of works. The teachers do not want a book with more than one fable or folk tale in it. Does anyone have any suggestions or works to suggest or books? Thanks. ===== Jennifer Simmons Library Clerk Children's Program Specialist Town of Ulster Public Library 985 Morton Blvd. Kingston, NY 12401 (845)336-5767 jen_simm@yahoo.com __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
