Dear Library Listserv Moderator,

In January, we mailed you a call for nominations for the
first-annual 21st-Century Librarian Award. I am pleased
to let you know that our winner was announced in May:
Richard Chabran, Director of Communities for Virtual
Research at the University of California at Riverside. I
hope you will be willing to post this notice to your
list. We invite you and your subscribers to visit our

learn more about Mr. Chabran and the award, and to see a
list of our nominees. Information about the 2002 award
will be available at the site by the end of the summer.
