Friends: Where have Funk and Wagnalls gone? I recently set a Funk and Wagnalls encyclopedia/reference set search box my library web site's QUICK REFERENCE page. Upon testing it, it worked--though rather sluggishly--for a couple of days, then went down. It has been down for several weeks now. Fact is all of Funk and Wagnall's sites have been inaccessible on the web for weeks. I've tried reaching several of them through a few different ISPs. Nada. It seems incomprehensible to me that a company would have all of their sites down that long--unless they've folded. I am about to remove the Funk and Wagnalls search box, unless anyone has some information regarding their services that would give me cause to hope that they'll soon be back up. Anybody heard anything? The base address for most Funk and Wagnalls stuff is http://www.funkandwagnalls.com Thanks for any info you can provide!
