book title

 A teacher requested that I find the title of the book
with the following theme:  jungle or forest setting.
Something evil keeps coming in and taking groups of
animals away.  ie.  all animals with feathers.  At the
end, only one rabbit remains and says "maybe I should
have spoke up!".  Does anyone recognize such a book
