Target: BOOK SHOWER IDEAS

We are having a "book shower" to ensure that a young friend who is getting
married will have a headstart on the books they will need to start her
married life.  The theme of the shower will be all based on books.  Special
book marks and book plates that we've created will be the party favors, the
centerpieces will be literary somehow, etc.  I'm wondering if anyone has fun
suggestions for games to play that could tie into this theme, and I'm also
wondering what book(s) you would suggest if you were going to such a shower.
