I have tried to reach someone at Versaware the providers of
FunkandWagnalls.Com for the last 2 days with no luck.
While they answer the phone no one wants to tell me anything. I will try
again Wednesday and post any updates to both the list and my weblog at
(http://resourceshelf.blogspot.com)

In the mean time...

I have been able to find the Funk and Wagnalls Multimedia Encyclopedia via:

I do not know if this is the same tool you were using.

Also, you may be interested to know that a new Beta of MSN Search
(http://beta.search.msn.com) is now serving
results direct from Encarta if material is available.  For example an entry
from the beta for the word Zoo.
