Dawn's posting reminded me of something I wanted to share.

After Christmas, when everything was half price (or 75 percent off as
February approached), I picked up several HP ornaments (not the glass
ball ones, the statue type) for less than $5 each from our local Hallmark
or Carlton cards shop. I believe there was a set issued and (and owl,
dragon, and two others), and I have 3 of 4 in the set. Since they don't
LOOK like Xmas ornaments I have them in a display case, and the kids
enjoy looking at them.

 I tend to hit the post holiday sales, to see what literature related
items I can buy... I've picked up Dr Seuss ornaments, Curious George
items, etc. My husband even gave me a Seuss "one fish , two fish"
ornament this year (he paid full price!)
