TARGET: Possible Plagiarism

Hello All,

I head up a Poetry Festival here in Cali, and at our Middle School night
last night, we saw a poem from a student at another school that we know was
plagiarized.  I have already found the first two stanzas on the net, and
that's probably all we need, but one of the members of our English
Department remembers reading it in MAD some while ago.  I have written to DC
comics, but I don't expect a swift reply.  The problem is that the Poetry
Festival was last night, and although we confronted the student before he
went on, we had no proof; he swore up and down that it was his; he even
prefaced his poem with "My Original poem that I made up all my myself" - his
arrogance was appalling.  The other school has asked my help to locate the
original, so we began investigating today.  Do any of you have MAD archives
that could be checked.  Please respond privately.
