TARGET: Input on ABACUS

Hello all,
Our district is investigating ABACUS for tracking and assessing
student achievement and monitoring standards-based teaching. It is a
very expensive program so we want as much input as we can get. Do any
of your districts/buildings use ABACUS?

How well is it received by teachers? Do you as an LMS use it? Do you
have any pros or cons, things we haven't thought of? How does it work
with standards-based thematic units? Are you comfortable with the
assessments being  basically paper/pencil on scantron sheets? Is it
more appropriate at MS/HS than at elementary level?
