Our counselor is looking for a story about a boy and his grandfather=20=

walking along the beach and finding a bunch of starfish stranded on the =

sand. The grandfather (?) starts throwing them back into the water and =

the boy asks him why he is doing it, because there are so many he'll=20=

never be able to save them all. The grandfather says that it makes a=20=

difference to the ones he does say. Does this sound familiar? Any idea=
s=20
where we can find it in writing? (My Chicken Soup books, which seem lik=
e=20
a logical source, are checked out.)

Thanks!
