Although I agree with Helen, that we shouldn't have to promote ourselves
when sports teams and physed departments get automatic attention, the simple
fact is that we do.  In the public's eye, we are just not as "sexy" as a
winning basketball team.  I did a website for a class last fall on advocacy
for our library programs.  It is at http://www.islandnet.com/~daichan/ and
if any of it is any use to all of you, please feel free.
