The color of books can be fun for a variety of
activities...

For the week preceding Easter I have purchased enough
jelly beans for every student to have one.  As they
come into the library, they will get to take a jelly
bean out of a basket and then I'll challenge them to
select a book with a cover the same color as their
bean.
