I have to disagree with you on this one. We don't say according to Buddhist myth, or Hindu myth, or Native American myth... No one's beliefs should be referred to a a myth. A myth is something we can prove is inaccurate, like Paul Bunyon's amazing feats, or an internet urban legend....
