LM_Netters: Need help with a quote. I recently heard Wally Amos speak at the MASL Spring conference; at my request he faxed me a wonderful quote about books that he used in his address. He unfortunately didn't remember the source of the quote. Does anyone recognize this? "A Book is the only place in which you can examine a fragile thought without breaking it, or explore an explosive idea without fear it will go off in your face. It is one of the few sources of information left that is served up without the silent black noise of a headline, the doomy hullabaloo of a commercial. It is one of the few havens remaining where a person's mind can get both provocation and privacy." -- Jean Marie Taylor Library Media Specialist Union High School Union, Mo 63084 636-583-2513 x129 taylje@union.k12.mo.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
