Spectrum Upgrade

We recently upgraded to Spectrum Version 5.  When we upgraded, many, if
not most, of the records that had been downloaded from Marcive did not
appear fully in our system.  That is, we showed the item # and call #, but
the author, title, key words, etc. were missing.  (All other items that
were not downloaded appeared in full.)  We have contacted Spectrum, and
they are saying that we have to either enter the information manually
(it's over 500 items!) or go back to the old version.  I am  wondering if
any of you have had this problem, and if you did, how you resolved it.
