 Have to second that! We had him a few years back, (2 years ago?) No idea
as to his costs, as he lives in a town adjacent to the one our school is
in., so we didnt have airfare, a rental car, or hotels to worry about.

He showed our K-5 kids how he created the illustrations by erasing from a
board he has painted. Since he lives locally, he could mention local
stores that carry art supplies, and the kids would know what he was
talking about. He autographed several library books for us, and the PTA
provided a catered lunch for him and any staff who wanted to join him for
lunch.
