Dick and Jane fan - a little off topic

In following this thread of Dick & Jane - I just thought all of you
might like to know the
   www.stopfalling.com  website has Dick & Jane , Library logo, etc.
clothing.... I have a Dick & Jane vest I often wear and everyone that
remembers the characters, loves it. The younger ones always ask - so I
show them my old booklets  ...

   As far as the On Topic discussion... I watch the conversations
about this program or that program being better, I stop and smile a
little.... It is all going to work for someone, somewhere at sometime,
so why not try a little of it all. Great teachers know that just
reading to and with students will work, but to find that one magical
book to read, at just that special moment, when it makes the warmest
smile come upon a child's face....
That's what we need to instill and treasure.
