There is a rumor going around that the HS my son attends is going to stop weighting Honors and AP grades becase of a certification requirement-( New England Secondary Schools). I would like to know what other HS do. I find it hard to believe that other schools don't weight grades and class ranking to give "credit" for students taking more challenging classes. It means that the top student in the graduating class may not have had any Honors or AP classes. Thanks, Gail =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
