Are there any middle schools out there that participate in a Battle of the Books program? We have a district-wide program in place for elementary schools, but are thinking of expanding to involve our middle schools. We know how to run a BOTB program, but are wondering if there some special tips, considerations, etc. that we should be aware of before we expand to the middle school level. Do you involved all grades? Should we start with sixth grade for the first year? Do you have the support of your language arts teachers? Anything you can think of to share with us, we would appreciate.
