TAR: Reading Counts and AR

Hi,

I know this topic has been discussed before and I did check the
archives but I was hoping maybe more people who have had AR have since
used Reading Counts and could give me their opinion.

We currently are using a DOS version of AR and are thinking of
switching to Reading Counts.  I am concerned about possible technical
problems because our version of AR is running well and other schools
that have used the Windows version have had more server problems.  I
know the same problem may not happen with Reading Counts but some
messages in the archives did hint to technical problems.  I'm not sure
if those problems were with earlier versions or if they are still
happening.

I would appreciate anyone who has experience with these programs
replying to these questions.  I will post a hit.

1.  If you switched from AR to Reading Counts, are you satisfied that
you made the right decision?
2.  Have you had any tech problems running Reading Counts?
3.  Have you seen any change in reading motivation - good or bad?
4.  Any other comments?
