We are a new high school media center and want to establish procedures for checking in new books and materials. We have been receiving new books and want to know what is the easiest most time efficient way to check them in. The two ways we have discussed are: 1. Check-in against the packing slip, then check the packing slip against the original order to make sure we received everything we originally ordered. 2. Check-in against our original order and if it is not complete or there is any problem, check against the packing slip. Suggestions and ideas would be appreciated.
