Tar> General "Fair" Family story

Dear Lm_net,

We are searching for any information about a short story (maybe teacher
xerox copy lore) about a Fair Family.  Here is a synopsis written by a
teacher:

"It is story about the Fair Family that has 8 children.  One gets sick, so
the family takes all kids to the doctor.  All get the same medicine fair is
fair after all.  In the end, something happens to all the children.  The
point is, you don't treat a child the same medically, you look at the
symptoms or strengths.  Why do we try to make one size fit all in education?

Any information would be appreciated.
