Re: SEC: library award given at award ceremony?

The Affiliate Assembly of AASL (American Association of School Librarians) =
hasrecommended to that organization's executive board that AASL create an =
award which all school librarians who are members of AASL may give out at =
their school. =20

The overall criteria is that the student demonstrate the goals of =
Information Power.  The actual local criteria would be up to the individual=
 member.  AASL would provide the certificate.

If you think this is a good Idea email AASL and mention it and perhaps the =
award can be a reality this next school year.

Dear LM_Netters:

Does anyone give a library award at an awards banquet or ceremony (besides
AR - our school doesn't do that)?  We don't have consistent student help
so that isn't an option for an award either.  TIA
