Thanks to those who sent some nice grammar sites: Big Dog Grammar http://gabiscott.com/bigdog/index.htm Here is a site that lists lots of links. I looked at a few http://teacherpathfinder.org/School/Subjects/EnglLA/writing.html The OWL site from Purdue University has some nice handouts. Some things are a little advanced for the kids, but many of the examples look useable. Web English Teacher http://www.webenglishteacher.com/ This has one link on the right hand side for supporting students with disabilities for a research paper, and on the left side, there's a grammar link with a list of links on grammar. Grammar Bytes http://www.chompchomp.com/ http://www.edufind.com/ Scroll to the right and click on online English grammar "In theory, there isn't any difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is." - Yogi Berra Mrs. Carolyn Gierke, Librarian Sweet Home High School 1901 Sweet Home Road Amherst, NY 14228 Phone: 1-716-250-1227 FAX: 1-716-250-1360 email: cgierke@shs.k12.ny.us =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
