Just a general question for K-5 school librarians-- I am using Titlewave (Follet) to select and order books. To meet district guidelines, I must have 2 positive reviews. Do you find any difference in what meets school needs better: ALA Notable/Best Books OR School Library Journal starred books? Any other comments on book selection, collection development are welcome! Thank you. -- "I may not be an explorer, or an adventurer, or a treasure-seeker, or a gunfighter, Mr. O'Connell, but I am proud of what I am...I, am a Librarian!"
