Hi there, Thanks to all who replied to my target for library rules. I received several emails that may be useful to others. Several people had a "less is better" idea. The librarian should not be restrictive, but should maintain control. Most emails I received said that students must come with a pass, but could come as often as they wanted. As far as behavior goes, the rules should be like the classroom. The students should be on task!! Thanks again for all your help! Email me if you think of anything else I need to know as a new library media specialist with a fixed schedule.
