LM_NET Archive

Greetings,

I'm trying to complete my fiction order for the year. A number of boys
in my school are asking for titles "like" Gary Paulsen's "Soldier's
Heart" or a book about "war." The main character, per their request,
should be male.

I have a very limited collection and knowledge in this area. What titles
have you or your students been reading? I have searched the archives,
several publisher sites (Follett, Mackin, Brodart) and have a list of
titles. However, I'd like to know what books are really worthwhile for
purchase.

Thank you for any assistance!
