TARGET: Library Events Calendar

I am looking to my LM connection for help. Twice I have gotten in dutch with
my principal because I have missed library-related events which our grade
school could have celebrated. Neither were major events (eg: Tigger's
Birthday). Now I am on the hunt for any calendar that lists any kind of
library events including: book character's birthdays, author's birthdays,
events, holidays....
The web has some of the dates and celebrations, but the listings are
piecemeal. Surely someone out there has info to make this search easier.
