Excuse me!  My directions were wrong for inserting animated text! I should
have said go to "Format" on the menu bar, not "Insert."  The directions
should have read:

In Word:
Select the text you want to animate.
Click on "Format" on the "Menu Bar."
Click "Font."
Click on the "Animation" tab
Select the effect you want.
Click "OK."

I know this works on Word '97 and Wood 2000 because I use both
interchangeably.  I apologize for the error.  It was early and I must have
still be half asleep!
