We have a teacher here who would like to purchase a used set of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (1980) and the Grove Dictionary of Art. In each case he would like print editions. I checked the prices for him on new sets and when I revived him he decided a used set would do. I suggested he look on eBay and contact the local PL and University Libraries to see if they were replacing their sets. Any other strategies to suggest?
