This is a very delayed hit to the questions I asked about summer reading about a month ago. For those of you who requested information, here are the responses I got: Most high schools use summer reading to support curriculum Some try to incorporate both pleasure and curriculum. There is always a follow up activity, such as a test, journal keeping, writing an essay, to make sure the reading gets done. I received many book lists. If you are interested in receiving them, please email me directly and I will forward them to you. Some are in electronic format, others came by snail mail which, if you want those I will obviously need your mailing address. -- Robin S.
