Hi! I had the first meeting of the Cyber Book Club in the library today and it was really a diverse group. Instead of agreeing on one book or author they decided to split the group and one group is reading the Philip Pullman books and the other will read a Michael L. Printz award winner or honor book. If you want to learn more about the Cyber Book Club visit: http://www.myschoolonline.com/folder/0,1872,39956-43536-44-20526,00.html If you want to join us, my students would like to communicate with students in your high school, please e-mail me and I will send you the address of the newsgroup. The best part of this club is that we meet online rather than in person (except occasionally to choose the books) the downside is that interest seems to wane as the year progresses. Our goal is to read one book every other month. Thanks, Kathy "I believe it is the nature of people to be heroes given a chance." James Autry Kathleen A.
