Our high school has a new, thriving Bible club that meets after school in the Media Center. The time has come for clubs and organizations to submit their information to be included in the yearbook. Of course, the Bible club wants to be included, but our principal is hesitant, mainly because of the possibility of a "skinhead" or other "off-the-wall" group possibly forming and wanting to be included in the yearbook in the future, also. He says that the yearbook is for "school-sponsored" groups and organizations, which the Bible club is not, technically. I don't want to open up a can of worms about "separation of church and state", but I am curious how many of your high schools include a Bible club in your yearbook and, if so, have you had any problems with groups which definitely shouldn't be included in the yearbook? Thanks for your input on the topic which, admittedly, is not purely "library-oriented" in nature! Tish Carpinelli Lower Cape May Regional H.S.
