Websites on the Future

One of our teachers is doing a unit on the future in following areas:
endangered species, medical advances, communication, music, technology,
military, education, urban sprawl, forced birth control, overpopulation,
defense tactics for the future, etc.  Have any of you found some good
websites that might help us with this subject?  I have found some by going
to www.lii.org.  Nonetheless I thought there might be someone who has
found better sites for teachers to use.
