Hi everybody! I am currently involved with a group of 3rd/4th graders who are writing their own books using blank books I got at a teacher's store. I am planning a Parent Tea (Dec. 20) so that the kids will have an opportunity to read their work. I will be sending out invitations (shaped like books) to the parents. I also saw a great idea in one of the teacher magazines about decorating an author's chair and having each of the kids sign it. Hopefully, all of this will include a little local tv coverage. Does anyone have any other suggestions that would be easy to implement at this stage of the game? Christine Traum Library Media Specialist Catholic Academy of W.
