Hi everybody!

I am currently involved with a group of 3rd/4th graders who are writing
their own books using blank books I got at a teacher's store. I am planning a
Parent Tea (Dec. 20) so that the kids will have an opportunity to read their
work. I will be sending out invitations (shaped like books) to the parents.
I also saw a great idea in one of the teacher magazines about decorating an
author's chair and having each of the kids sign it. Hopefully, all of this
will include a little local tv coverage. Does anyone have any other
suggestions that would be easy to implement at this stage of the game?
