I was given this recipe many years ago while teaching in a small school i= n Denton Montana. I make themt every year at Christmas and my friends and collegues look forward to them. The recipe makes a pretty large batch. Th= ey are very moist so store accordingly. 1 1/2 cups Canned Pumpkin (It needs to be canned pumpking not canned pumpking pie mix) 1/2 cup Margarine 1 Cup Sugar 1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 Egg 1/2 Teaspoon salt 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon 2 cups Flour 1 Cup Chopped Nuts 1 Bag Butterscotch Chips Mix all of the above. Drop by Teaspoonfull on Greased Cookie Sheet Bake 375 for 12 - 14 minutes. Deborah J. Stafford Gen. H.H.
