Here is the hit I promised on 100% Educational Videos. I had very mixed
responses on the quality of the videos from this company. I’ve included the
responses below. Thank you to everyone who responded!

I had the same experience with teachers this year. They insisted that I buy
the videos described in a brochure every teacher in the building received
from 100% Educational Videos. When they arrived, they turned out to be
videos from companies such as Schlesinger Video (a division of Library Video
Company). BTW they were much more expensive that buying directly from the
producing company. I learned my lesson. Hope my experience helps you.

I have been very satisfied with 100% videos in the past.

I ordered several videos from 100% educational videos last year. Teachers
seemed pleased, tho i did not view them myself. I notice that follett
carries some of them in t heir catalog.

I have bought videos from this company and they are good, but they are
expensive. Most cost around $59.99. If I am looking for a video that was
advertised in a 100% ed. video brochure I always go to my Library Video
catalog to see if it's in there. This company has many of the exact same
videos for $29.99. Unbelievable that the difference would be that much but
it's true. Try Library Video first to see if they have what you are looking
for. If you don't have a catalog, you can go to the website-
www.libraryvideo.com.

Quality is good but you can often find the same video at a lower price.

I have not personally ordered from this company, but my county advises
against it. Many of their videos I have heard are very old but have new
covers.

I use them quite a bit, my teachers are fond of "movie Friday". The quality
is good, and at least in VA, they match our Standards of Learning (SOL's)
hope this helps.

I've used 100% Video(last year)....had good luck and the videos were good.
However, it was my first year as a media specialist so I've not experienced
a lot of different video companies yet.

We have bought from them for many years. We always preview before we
purchase. These tend to be recycled videos from other companies and at times
can be misleading. The packageing for appropirate grade levels and
subjects. We have several videos and they are well liked by my teachers.
they give me a huge list every year.

I have used them and the teachers had used the "Civil War" videos each year
for several years. have not used any other than history

I have ordered videos from them before. Please check the Library Video
Company first, though. LVC has better prices on their videos than that of
those listed in 100%.(Of videos that are in both catalogs.) Some of the
videos from 100% are made for/by them and are very educational. I called and
asked who produced the videos I was interested in purchasing. If you are
placing a large order money wise.....call and ask for someone to approve
special pricing or shipping. I received a better deal this way. It never
hurts to ask!

I have ordered many things from 100% Ed. videos and have always been happy
with the videos. They have been very popular with many elementary teachers.
(My resource center serves K-12)

I'd give them a shot if you see some good titles to support your curriculum
areas.
