Hello Wanda, Apple make a wonderful product called "i-Movies" which comes with all it's new computers. http://www.apple.com/imovie/ I haven't used it myself but I watched our Grade 2 teacher download a some video from her movie camera and in what seemed like no time at all put together a 3 minute video clip with titles, transitions and a different sound track. Then she saved it as a Quick time file. And once the video is saved as a Quick time file it can be displayed in Power Point. This teacher was using a digital video camera with a Firewire connection to her computer so I'm not sure what it would be like with a standard camcorder and some sort of video to USB adaptor. As well, I don't know if the program will run on anything but a newer model Mac. Nevertheless, if your teacher has access to a new Mac and a digital camcorder, i-Movies should definitely fit the bill. >I have a teacher who is having her students make a >video tape of themselves doing a project.
