I am the Media Specialist for all 5 elementary public schools in my city. I would love to use the Battle of the Books program with my sixth graders this year. I have the book, but the district won't spend money on the actual program. At least not this year. There are two sixth grades in each school. Does anyone have any ideas for me as far as how to set this up. I travel to each school one day a week and depend on email to correspond with the classroom teachers.
