The school that I work had been a K-8 school, but about ten years ago we = split into two separate schools, the elementary and middle schools. We = are next door to each other and still share some facilities; the library = being one of them. We are building a new middle school several miles = away and will move in next year. The concern we have regarding the = library is how to decide what to take and what the elementary school = keeps? A lot of children from grades four to seven use the same books. = If anyone has ever experienced a similar split in your library and could = offer any advice on what to do to make this as smooth a transition as = possible it=20 will be greatly appreciated? Thanks!
