Re: HIT: Librarian and gifted students

For those of us not trained in dealing with gifted
students, it is good to remember that they haven't
simply been given a gift.  Many of their characteristics
are similar to ADD and they can have a host of issues to
deal with like low self esteem, not being able to fit in
with normal socialization,  or having a hard time
quieting their minds. It is sometimes hard to see the
burdens they carry because things SEEM to come easy to
them.  Good luck.
