I am looking for favorite quotes from books that students would likely recognize. During National Teen Read Week I will read a quote each morning on announcements, and students can enter their guesses into a drawing for a prize each day. Last year I used quotes from children's literature. This year I'd like to do young adult literature or classics that they may read throughout their high school careers. Does anyone do something similar and have a good collection of quotes? I searched the archives and found a good collection of quotes that talk about reading, but I'm looking for actual quotes from books. Thanks for the help.
