Dear LM-Netters, I have a Gr 4/5 teacher who would like me to get in some books on art. She is trying to include some social studies as well combining the history and culture of many famous artists. She is looking for simple books that show textures and lines, and allow intermediate students to experience the enjoyment of well known aritists. Artists like Van Gogh, the Group of Seven, Emily Carr, Degas etc. Does anyone have any suggestions of simple books that could be used and that would encourage students of this age to emulate these artisits in their art activities as well as gain a brief understanding of their lives and culture of the times? Thanks, Elizabeth __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? NEW from Yahoo!
