I was just reminded of a couple of incidents that happened this year. When I am sitting on my stool with the younger children at my feet, a teacher coming out of the keyboarding lab doesn't think there is any one there. Twice this year, 2 teachers have come partway out, have seen my assistant and 'yelled' across the room...'where's Barb?' Needless to say they both wanted to crawl into a hole when they realized I was sitting right there, with a very quiet group of kindergarteners! I couldn't help but laugh...they realized they messed up! -- Barb Engvall Library Media Specialist John Campbell Elementary 408 N. 1st Street Selah, WA 98942 readsomebooks@home.com > From: Suby Wallace <suwallac@COLUMBIA.K12.MO.US> > Reply-To: Suby Wallace <suwallac@COLUMBIA.K12.MO.US> > Date: Tue, 23 Oct 2001 08:10:27 -0500 > To: LM_NET@LISTSERV.SYR.EDU > Subject: Re: Noise levels > > Wow, would I love to hear any suggestions you get!
