GEN: New Book Featuring a Librarian!

Hello All,

Thought you might like to know about a delightful new novel by Anita
Diamant (author of _The Red Tent_).

_Good Harbor_ is the story of Kathleen, a school librarian, and her new
friend, Joyce, an author.  These women meet in Gloucester just as
Kathleen begins treatment for breast cancer.    Through their long walks
on the beach the two share many of their life stories and their current
struggles.  Although not much is said about Kathleen's job, it's nice to
know that our professions can shine in a novel.
