Our district is considering a move towards flexible scheduling in the library and we're looking for alternatives for teacher prep. Currently the teachers receive 45 minutes of prep per day. Preparation is covered by health (nurse), music, art, phys ed and library. We were wondering if there are other ways in which preparation periods are covered in other districts, especially those with flexible scheduling. Your input is greatly appreciated. The assistant Superintendent is very supportive of a library flex schedule but doesn't know how it can be accommodated. What works for your school? Thanks, Mary -- "Knowledge is of two kinds.
