REF: American Literature

I have received a gift of cash to purchase books for my Middle
School Library in memory of a former teacher who loved American
literatrue. I need recommendatinos for specific titles and/or editons
(NOTE: I want the actual works, not criticism)   I have narrowed
down the topics/authors to the following:

Poetry of Emily Dickenson
A nice edition for middle school

Poetry of e.e. cummings
I would like a collection of his most famous works

Short stories by E.A. Poe
I would like several small different collections of his short stories
instead of a huge compete one - the kids are reluctant to check out
a huge book.

Any help will be greatly apprciated.  Thanks in advance.
