HIT: Backpacks in the IMC

Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond.  I received 26 replies. =
 25 of the 26 do NOT allow backpacks/bookbags in the IMC or at least past =
the entryway.  It was also interesting to note that many of the 25 do not =
allow backpacks to be kept anywhere except the lockers due to security =
reasons.   I now have some "ammunition" to take to my principal.  Thanks =
