Tom Clancy books

There have been some requests for the Net Force Series books written by Tom
Clancy in my library.  I'd like your opinion on whether they are appropriate
for a school library and for what age they are most appropriate.  This is
not my type of "literature" so I haven't read any of this series and need
your help.  Thanks for your replies.
